On behalf of the Government of Ontario, I am pleased to extend warm greetings to everyone attending the 116th Annual Meeting and Exhibition of the Medical Library Association in conjunction with the Canadian Health Libraries Association.
As Premier, I recognize that quality health information is essential for the health and well-being of all Ontarians. I commend medical librarians and related health information professionals for the role they play in the enhancement of quality health care, education and research in our province and beyond. Take pride in knowing, that through your due diligence, you are ensuring people receive the high-quality health care they need — when they need it.
I am confident that Mosaic 16, the theme of this year’s conference, will offer those in attendance an opportunity to benefit from practical professional development through discussions on the latest industry trends and participation in educational sessions. This interdisciplinary educational experience will also offer those in attendance the chance to network and share best practices with colleagues and peers in order to get the right tools, skills and knowledge needed to overcome challenges and help their libraries and organizations succeed.
I extend my appreciation to the organizers for their time, energy and effort they have invested in creating this memorable event.
Please accept my best wishes for a successful and productive conference.

Kathleen Wynne
