Dear Friends:

I am pleased to extend my warmest greetings to everyone attending the 116th Annual Meeting and Exhibition of the Medical Library Association (MLA) — a joint meeting with the Canadian Health Libraries Association (CHLA) and the International Clinical Librarian Conference (ICLC).

The theme of this year’s event “Mosaic: Be Part of the Big Picture,” provides an ideal framework to participate in workshops, to discuss issues of concern to the profession and to look ahead to the challenges and opportunities of the future. The commercial exhibition also gives everyone a chance to compare the latest technologies, accessories and services available.

I commend the organizers for arranging an informative and stimulating program. The Medical Library Association is a strong advocate for its members, providing training and accreditation to ensure a well-informed and highly skilled workforce that plays a critical role in collecting, documenting, and disseminating high quality medical information, for the benefit of our health care system.

Please accept my best wishes for a memorable and productive event in Toronto.

The Rt. Hon. Justin P.J. Trudeau, P.C., M.P. Prime Minister of Canada

Justin P.J. Trudeau, C.P., député Premier ministre du Canada
