Office MSK Imaging: What's The Right Test?

Thursday, November 23
1:15 PM - 2:15 PM

Patients with MSK complaints very commonly present to primary care offices. Many imaging options are possible, including x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and bone scan. There is often pressure from patients to order some test - so often a MRI or U/S is ordered. This interactive talk will focus on common extremity complaints that present to your family medicine office and review assessment and imaging strategies (including no imaging at all!) that allow for optimal, informed care of our patients, while still being mindful of efficient use of our healthcare resources.
