Angie Jackson received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders with a minor in Psychology in 1993 and her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 1995 from Southwest Missouri State University. After practicing as a speech pathologist for a number of years she returned and completed her Master’s of Business Administration in 2002. Although having worked in a variety of settings as a therapist, her passion has always been for the acquired brain injury population. She has been at Pate Rehabilitation since 2003 and currently serves as the Clinical Educator and coordinator in the Marketing Department. She is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer through the Brain Injury Association of America and also serves on the Board of Governors for ACBIS. She is a member of the Brain Injury Association Business and Professional Council and on the planning committee for the BIAA Business and Professional College. She is involved in advocacy and education for increased awareness of brain injuries in the community.
