Digital technology facilitates communication and improves clinical outcomes in our advanced education programs. This session will provide insight into the evolution of digital dentistry, its current status and a foresight into the future. By merging advanced imaging and digital technology, complex treatment in prosthodontics, endodontics and oral/maxillofacial surgery can be executed with precision using guided techniques. Understanding this technology will allow the participants to develop plans on how to implement technology into the advanced education curriculum. Participants will be encouraged to discuss the risks and benefits of establishing these protocols and tools into the curriculum.
