Are you trying to identify new ways to improve student outcomes? This interactive workshop will explore what Learning Analytics are, how they can be implemented in learning management systems and how they can be used to improve student learning behaviors. This workshop will look at two faculties journey's through Learning Analytics implementation, which will include lessons learned and helpful tips. Participants will use small group discussions to share ideas on how the use of Learning Analytics supports best practices in teaching and learning and walk away with resources and strategies to utilize in their classes.
Learning Objectives:
- Recognize how Learning Analytics can be used to inform both faculty and students about their teaching/learning behaviors.
- Understand the role Learning Analytics can play to inform data-driven decisions regarding student learning.
- Identify 3 practices for using Learning Analytics to improve student learning behaviors.
