Dental educators strive for interprofessional clinical experiences (IPCEs) that enhance student competence in communicating and collaborating with other health professionals. Regardless of setting, a core set of adaptable activities that foster quality interactions among professional students and patients is needed. Speakers will describe their projects, including preparation for IPCE, contextual influences of the setting and assessment. Seminar participants will share their experiences with IPCE in different care settings and discuss current models of interprofessional care, health care system factors that impact the translation of IPCE to practice and dentistry's role in the future of interprofessional patient-centered care.

- Describe examples of assessment methods for IPCE.
