The "hidden curriculum" is a set of values and beliefs that are a powerful factor in the education and moral environment of an educational institution. It involves the culture—values, behaviors and ethical decision-making that are exhibited and embodied in the academic setting by all stakeholders. In this interactive workshop, faculty, administration and students will highlight specific examples of experiences with the hidden curriculum and how they have met the challenges posed. Best practices will be presented with a focus on promoting modeling of professional and ethical behavior in the academic environment by students, faculty, administration and staff.

• Develop strategies to engage others in conversation to address hidden curriculum issues locally.
