As we envision the dental workforce in 2030, diversity is the wellspring of our creativity and experience. Turning aside differences to build synergy, trust, respect and acceptance is a diversity imperative for establishing the spirit of constructive engagement. Every encounter provides an opportunity to have a positive effect. Healthcare providers can maximize their competencies by learning to promote inclusion. This session is designed to provide attendees with empirical evidence and case studies to heighten awareness of issues related to diversity and explore implications for the future. The session will stimulate an engaging discussion filled with provocative, interactive and meaningful activities.
