Every day thousands of patients receive comprehensive care in the clinics of dental schools worldwide. It is their responsibility to ensure that quality care is provided in a timely manner and in proper sequence. By integrating a periodic check system within the curriculum itself, it can be ensured that charts are being audited regularly. At Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine, these checks are done by incorporating practice management grades into the students clinic grades during their last two years. Since its integration, there has been an increase in chart compliance across the board every year.
