Integrating technology in dental education is a necessity to meet the needs of the next generation. Incorporating technology with cooperative learning activities and student-centered assessments engages students to increase knowledge, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Cooperative learning activities create learning environments that empower students to construct knowledge for themselves. Student-centered assessments encourage students to examine their own process of learning and effectively develop their understanding and skills. Participants will learn about the concept of cooperative learning activities and student-centered assessments, how this concept applies to dental education and identify methods to integrate technology in meaningful ways that enhances student learning.
Learning Objectives:

- Strategize methods to incorporate technology with cooperative learning activities and student-centered assessments.
