In early 2017, the ADA took a significant step forward in the development of a national examination to help dental boards understand the clinical knowledge and skills of dental licensure candidates. The new Dental Licensure Objective Structured Clinical Examination (DLOSCE), anticipated to launch in 2020, will provide another option to current clinical licensure examinations. Session participants will learn how the DLOSCE is being developed and why this new examination program is needed.
