Belgian journalist Pascale Borgaux tells of her numerous trips to Afghanistan, and how the situation in the country has change since her first trip 10 years earlier. She follows the life of a local elder, a sort of a warlord, very respected by all residents of the town, who has always fought the Taliban regime, until one of is own sons becomes supporter of the Taliban movement. The film tells of the current situation in the country, following the war and of the everyday life of people in the region, including women. This documentary has inspired a graphic novel with the same name, the artist of which, Thomas Campi, will be present at ALA.
