Taking a continuous approach to capturing, analyzing and responding to user feedback is the surest way to become more responsive to, and understanding of, Library users’ needs.
This session will discuss and demonstrate how to implement and engage in a process of continuous improvement based on the ongoing capture of user feedback.
Given usage patterns that relate strongly to academic commitments, such as assignments/exams/class preparation, providing opportunities to give short/succinct feedback and/or more thorough responses to questionnaires, enables the user to choose how and when to share their feedback and gives library management a more complete picture throughout the academic year of what the users’ needs are whether they are a student, faculty or staff member and/or an in-library or online user and/or enrolled in on-campus and/or online courses.
