The purpose of this paper is to clarify the effect on the tsunami inundation of the different damage level of the protective facilities. But the facility damage level due to tsunamis is uncertainty, so we simulated 942 cases assuming various damage level of seawalls using the Monte-Carlo method.
The results indicate that there is the areas where the maximum inundation height increases around 30% and the beginning of the inundation become about 2 minutes earlier compared with the results of the no seawalls. On the other hand, the inundation area was almost covered by that of no seawall case.
