State-of-art coastal engineering numerical modeling platforms (GenCade, Delft3D and SBEACH) were utilized in this study to evaluate the anticipated longshore transport and cross-shore storm impacts associated with multiple beach nourishment construction templates to estimate potential improvements on the Wrightsville Beach Coastal Storm Damage Reduction Project. Model calibrations and alternative analyses were discussed.
