This paper describes numerical simulations aiming to reproduce the pressure impulses when a recurved parapet wall and non-breaking wave conditions are considered. The estimation of forces can be made in breaking and non-breaking wave condition (Goda, 2010), with the addition of the impulsive breaking wave conditions (Takahashi, 1996). However, no recurved parapet walls where considered. It has been shown that in non-breaking wave conditions impulsive loads can occur (Castellino et al. 2017). These mechanism is induced by the geometrical characteristics of the parapet and is not deeply investigated in literature.
