Topography change around a harbor caused by tsunami affects serious damage to harbor functions. Therefore, it is extremely important to evaluate the topography change due to tsunami quantitatively in advance. A three-dimensional (3D) flow model is needed to predict the topography change accurately because 3D flow field is generated around a harbor when tsunami strikes. This study proposed a 3D tsunami flow model to which the fractional area/volume obstacle representation (FAVOR) method and the weighted essentially non-oscillatory (WENO) scheme were adopted. The validity of the model was examined by the application of the model to a large-scale experiment.
