Inter-comaprison of FVCOM and ADCIRC is carried out for the storm surge event in Nemuro, Hokkaido, Japan in the middle of Dec. 2014. Overall performance of an estimation on sea surface elevation is similar for FVCOM and ADCIRC. On the other hand, near flood area, The result of simulated maximum sea level is deviation probably due to simulated distribution of current velocity in Nemuro Bay is not similar for the models. In addition, the sensitivity of maximum sea surface height to three types of sea drag coeffcient is evaluated in this study.
