This study experiments to know transport characteristics of coastal boulders by tsunami and high waves: which are known as tsunami boulder and storm boulder. Results shows that in case of tsunami, transport distance is increasing when the reef is dry. Transport distance is strongly affected by wave breaking point in case of tsunami. In case of high waves, transport distance increases when the reef is wet. Transport distance is strongly affected by buoyancy in case of high waves. The force required to transport the boulder is calculated from fluid force
