In this study, dam-break flows as tsunami flows on land were generated in the experimental channel to measure pressure distributions acting on a vertical wall and a rectangular model. Internal velocity fields were also measured by using PIV technique to clarify the relationships between the fluid motion and pressure variation immediately after the collision.
