This research aims to reveal past- and future-change of winter cyclone (WC) around Western North Pacific using JRA-55 and d4PDF, and its impact on coastal hazards. Important results are (p1) strength of WC increase, (p2) seasonal change of WC track, (p3) weak relationship between WC and ENSO from past dataset (JRA-55), (f1) track of WC shifts northward, (f2) ratio of strong WC increase, (f3) coastal hazard risk along Japan Sea increase from large ensemble dataset of climate change (d4PDF).
