Sunday, October 21
2:30 PM - 4:00 PM
Location: 126-AB

1.5 PDH, LA CES/non-HSW, AICP, FL, CMAA

Often landscape architects find themselves absorbed by or joining multidisciplinary engineering firms. While there are benefits, the LA may not be able to contribute in a meaningful way. This session demonstrates techniques where landscape architects were able to establish and amplify their voice in this growing reality.

Learning Objectives:

Chad D. Danos, FASLA

Business Unit Leader -- Landscape Architecture
Duplantis Design Group, PC

Chad D. Danos, FASLA, PLA leads the landscape architecture business unit for the multi-disciplinary firm, Duplantis Design Group, PC, located in Baton Rouge, for its three Louisiana offices as well as a Houston, Texas office. Danos joined DDG in 2011 after cultivating a traditional landscape architecture firm. Chad's passion for "people and place" has been a mantra during his 2015-16 ASLA Presidency and continues to be the core perspective he promotes to his engineering and architectural colleagues.
