Come hear how the leading landscape architecture organizations—the American Society of Landscape Architects, the International Federation of Landscape Architects, and the Landscape Architecture Foundation—are advancing climate action (now!) within the profession and how we can contribute as practitioners and individuals.

Pamela Conrad, ASLA

Senior Associate
CMG Landscape Architecture

Ms. Conrad, Senior Associate at CMG Landscape Architecture in San Francisco, applies her 15 years of experience as a landscape architect to transforming marginalized urban spaces into public parks and renewing natural systems in the urban interface. With a background in Plant Science, a master’s degree focused on regenerative design, and knowledge from restoring waterways at the US Army Corps of Engineers, Pamela brings an ecologically sensitive approach to her work. She is the project manager of two the largest environmentally innovative projects in the Bay Area responding to climate change — Treasure Island and the SF Seawall Resiliency Project.

Martha Schwartz Partners, LLC

The principal of Martha Schwartz Partners, Ms. Schwartz has over 35-years of experience as a landscape architect, urbanist, and artist on a wide variety of projects around the world. Ms. Schwartz is a tenured Professor in Practice of Landscape Architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design advancing design for Climate Change Mitigation, a founding member of the Harvard Working Group of Sustainable Cities, and an active member of the LAF Climate Change Task Force. The recipient of numerous awards and prizes, she has lectured extensively and her work has been featured widely in international publications and gallery exhibitions.
