Biography:
Clifton “Dave” Fuller, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Head and Neck Section, at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. As a radiation oncologist with a focus on head and neck malignancies with sub-specialty certification in Clinical Informatics, his research is focused on development of high-dimensionality “Big Data” approaches in image-guided radiotherapy, bolstered by research training received through the UT Health Science Center San Antonio T32-supported PhD-residency program and the MD Anderson K12 Paul Calabresi Clinical Trial Fellowship. Dr. Fuller leads an established research group, and has been recognized as an independent investigator through serial intrmural and extramural grants. Dr. Fuller is a recognized educator and mentor in radiation therapy, imaging and information science disciplines, serving as PI of the newly awarded UT MD Anderson “Fellow and Resident Radiation Oncology iNtensive Training in Imaging and Informatics to Empower Research” (FRONTI2ER) R25 post-doctoral clinical research training program.
