Dr.ssa Pierina Navarria graduated from the University of Milan, Faculty of Medicine, 1990.
In 1994 she obtained her post-graduate degree in Radiology and Radiation Oncology.
From 1991 to 2003 she worked at the National Cancer Institute of Milan as Resident, then Assistant Radiation Oncologist and subsequently Associate Chief in Radiation Oncology.
From 2003 to now she works at Humanitas Cancer Center and Research Hospital
Her main interests, activities and responsibilities concerned:
CNS tumors, particularly benign and malignant primary brain tumors and secondary brain tumors
Soft tissue sarcoma
Lymphoproliferative disease
She published more than 100 scientific papers in international peer-reviewed journals, several books chapters, edited/reviewed for many academic journals.
Membership: Italian Association of Radiotherapy (AIRO), European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology (ESTRO), Italian Association of Neurooncology (AINO), European Association of Neuro –Oncology ( EANO)
