Biography:
I am an Associate Professor, radiation oncologist and physician scientist at the Ohio State University, where I also serve as Vice Chair of Translational Research, and Associate Residency Program Director. My clinical care is focused on patients with GI and thoracic malignancies, and I am particularly interested in experimental therapeutics in combination with radiation. My laboratory focuses on oncogene-mediated resistance to radiation and genotoxic chemotherapies, DNA repair, caveolins/caveolae mediated endocytosis, tumor metabolism, molecular profiling for risk stratification, and novel immunotherapy approaches. I am active in NCI-Radiation Research Program working groups, as well as NRG Oncology and Alliance oncology cooperative groups through the NCTN.
