Panel presentations will have each speaker addressing their respective areas of expertise. Dr. Brunt will detail the FAST-Forward trial results of whole breast hypofractionation in one week. The technique and results of IORT at the time of breast lumpectomy will be described by Dr. Orecchia or a designated representative. Dr. Rachel Blitzblau will update intact tumor irradiation with a single fraction as up-front treatment before any planned surgery or as single modality therapy. The early results of 3-fraction APBI of the Triumph-T trial will be detailed by Dr. A Khan. And, Dr. George Wilson or a designated radiation biology dignitary will discuss in-depth the radiobiological principles upon which the various clinical results of these hypofractionation schemes are based upon.
