This session will review key updates in CNS tumors. The format will be case based presentations in a multi-disciplinary tumor board discussion towards implementing these changes in our clinical practice. Highlights of the new WHO 2016 Classification Brain Tumors, molecular diagnosis of brain tumors, and new clinical trial updates will be reviewed. In this case-based panel discussion, each discussant will lead a challenging CNS case and highlight the need for a multi-disciplinary treatment approach. The emphasis will be a practical approach to molecular markers that allow for the selection of an appropriate patient specific treatment.
