The focus of this session is to discuss challenges and highlight opportunities for global collaboration by leveraging information technologies that are currently available. An expert on IHERO interconnectivity and interoperability will provide an overview of how industry standards are to be used to address specific clinical problems and ambiguities. Another expert will describe how standardized nomenclature can open doors for global collaboration and big data applications in radiation oncology.
