This course will describe and compare the different techniques and energy sources used for endoscopic enucleation of the prostate in the surgical management of symptomatic BPH. Experts in the field will use video-analysis and evaluation of the scientific literature to help differentiate these procedures including Holmium(HoLEP), Thulium(ThuVEP) and electrosurgical enucleation techniques. The economic advantages of endoscopic versus robotic and open approaches to enucleation will be addressed.
