Costas Lallas, MD, FACS is a Vice Chair and Professor of Urology at Thomas Jefferson University Hosptial in Philadelphia, PA. He finished undergraduate studies at Duke University and went on to medical school at Sidney Kimmel (Jefferson) Medical College where he graduated in 1998. He completed a residency in urology at Duke University Medical Center in 2004 and a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona in Minimally Invasive Urologic Oncology in 2005. He serves as the Director of Robotic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is the Director of Surgical Simulation for the Rector Clinical Skills and Simulation Center of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College. His clinical practice is primarily urologic oncology with a concentration in minimally invasive surgical management of genitourinary malignancies. He has an interest in undergraduate and graduate education and serves as the director of undergraduate education for the medical school, the associate program director for the urology residency, and the co-director of the fellowship in minimally invasive urologic oncology.
