I also serve as a reviewer for the Journal for Urology, Fertility and Sterility, Urology, and the British Journal of Urology International. At the NYU School of Medicine, I serve as a lecturer for the first-year medical students on Male Reproductive Pharmacology; as well I am involved in lecturing residents in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine as well as Fellows in Cardiology. I am a fellowship trained microsurgeon having completed clinical and research fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine. My fellowship was funded by the AUA (American Urological Association) Foundation; this prestigious research award is offered to only 5-10 graduating urology residents pursuing academic fellowship in any given year. My research, relating to leptin and ghrelin as regulators of male fertility in the mouse, was selected for the prestigious Graduate Scholar Award. At NYU, we have had a dedicated fellowship in Male Reproductive and Reconstructive Surgery since 2014; I serve as Fellowship Director. Finally, I am involved in ongoing clinical research with the Fertility Center and with the Reproductive Endocrinology Fellows as well as with my own Fellows and our Urology residents.
