Heinric Williams

Dr. Heinric Williams is a Urologic Oncologist and Assistant Professor at Geisinger Health System, as well as a Research Scientist at the Weis Center for Research. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and masters of science degree from State University of New York at Buffalo, New York. He received his medical degree and urology training from Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan. He completed a fellowship in urologic oncology at the National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, Maryland. He has a clinical subspecialty interest in kidney cancer and also a translational research program in renal, prostate and urothelial carcinoma. His research focuses on the role of heat shock protein inhibitors in urological malignancies and the development of urinary biomarkers in renal, urothelial and prostate cancers.
