Dr. Warlick is a urologic surgeon at the Institute for Prostate and Urologic Cancer, University of Minnesota as well as Associate Professor in urologic surgery, at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He treats several urologic cancers, with an emphasis on prostate cancer, and is nationally known for his leadership on active surveillance for low-risk prostate cancer, while performing robotic-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomies for men requiring definitive therapy.
Dr. Warlick has ongoing research focusing on the use of MR imaging in prostate cancer, on racial disparities in prostate cancer among African-American men, and on programs to increase the use of shared decision making around PSA screening and prostate cancer treatment decision making.
Dr. Warlick earned his M.D., Ph.D. degrees from the University of Minnesota and completed his residency at Brady Urological Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
