Presentation will summarize the TRE process, best practices, and quick off ramps informed by real-world experience, placing an emphasis on the initial Facility Performance Evaluation, and effective methods of performing and leading your own evaluation.

Dr. Brant Jorgenson is an environmental chemist with a specialty in analytical chemistry.  His consulting experience spans 20 years in water quality analysis, sediment characterization and dredging, toxicity reduction evaluations, and stormwater management, as well as NPDES and WDR negotiation, compliance and monitoring.  He has assisted clients in the negotiation of new NPDES permits, the development of Toxicity Identification Evaluation and Toxicity Reduction Evaluations strategies as well as the preparation of TRE Work Plans and Action Plans, and development of site-specific criteria using the Biotic Ligand Model and Water Effect Ratio studies.
