Is Ozone Pretreatment Best Method for Improving Membrane Productivity?

Wednesday, April 18
10:00 AM - 10:25 AM
Location: Meeting Room 309/310, Sacramento Convention Center

SWRCB Drinking Water: 1 Contact Hour, if also attend "Unique and Innovative Pilot Opportunity Helps Jump-Start Potable Reuse"

SWRCB Wastewater: .05 CEU

CWEA: .5 Contact Hours

Practice Area: Professional Challenge Area: Plant Operations – Challenges and Opportunities

This abstract compares two design approaches (with and without ozone treatment), design challanges and cost to improve membrane productivity for a reclaimed water facility ranged between 1 and 50 mgd capacities. The findings will provide a great value for agencies are dealing with membrane fouling and productivity issues
