Facility condition assessment is a growing need. This session discusses the challenges inherent in conducting the work at a large, operating facility while maintaining continuous, reliable treatment. It will describe the City’s approach to overcoming these challenges and summarize results, lessons learned and steps to implementing critical repair and rehabilitation.

Biography:

Mr. Sanchez is a Vice President of Kennedy/Jenks Consultants based in Sacramento, CA with a BS and MEng from UC Berkeley. He is a registered PE with over 21 years experience in the planning, design and construction of water, wastewater and recycled water infrastructure projects for municipal, State and Federal agencies.

Tina Pham

Senior Engineer
City of San Jose

Biography:

Tina Pham is a Senior Engineer at the City of San Jose. She serves as a Project Manager for San Jose-Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility's Capital Improvement Program, where she leads the Filter Rehabilitation Project and also the Nitrification Clarifiers Rehabilitation Project. Tina is experienced in water and wastewater treatment planning and design. Prior to joining the City of San Jose, Tina spent time working in the private sector for CDM Smith and Conestoga-Rovers & Associates (currently GHD). Tina earned both her bachelor's degree and master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University.
