Questions about the impact of emerging constituents have been around for decades. Perhaps it is time to take a step back, reassess, and identify advances in technology, research studies, and regulatory drivers in order to address the impacts of emerging constituents. This session seeks to foster a group discussion in which participants share research goals, resource end-use needs, and regulatory compliance challenges.

Biography:

Jenny Reina is an Associate Engineer at CH2M HILL's Oakland Office in California. Jenny has more than 15 years of experience in water, wastewater, and water reuse for the public sector and the private industry. She has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, and a M.S. in Environmental Systems. Ms. Reina is a member of the Water Environment Federation and the California Water Environment Association. She is currently serving as the WEF Disinfection and Public Health Committee Webcast Chair.

Ripon Bhatia

Acting Utilities Director
City of Tracy

Biography:

Ripon Bhatia is the Acting Utilities Director at the City of Tracy. Ripon is a licensed professional engineer in California with more than 20 years of experience working with the City of Tracy under different departments, including the Development Services Department and Utilities Department. He holds a B.S with emphasis in Environmental Engineering and a M.S. in Civil Engineering. As part of the City of Tracy he is an active member of CVCWA and CWEA.

Biography:

Jeff Tucker is the Director of Administrative Services and Chief Financial Officer for the Napa Sanitation District. He has worked for NapaSan for about 9 years. Jeff has a Master's Degree in Public Administration and is a member of the Water Environment Federation and the Government Finance Officers Association. For the past three years, Jeff has served on the CWEA Board, this past year as the Treasurer/Secretary.
