Electro Scanning Inspection – a leak detection technology to automatically find infiltration and certify repairs as "watertight"? The author of the country's leading O&M manual, used in accredited training programs across the U.S. and by the EPA’s CMOM programs, included an Electro Scan chapter in the latest edition of the manual.

Chuck Hansen

Biography:

Prior to founding Electro Scan Inc., Hansen was Founder & Chairman of Hansen Information Technologies (1983-2007) , a leading asset management software solutions provider. In 2010, Ken Kerri, Ph.D., P.E., asked Hansen to help find out why trenchless rehabilitation failures were occurring in recently lined pipes that were previously OK'd by Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras. Hansen reviewed a number of existing and new technologies to provide unbiased, unambiguous testing and certification of pipelines as watertight. A multi-patent holder, Hansen earned his BS from UC Berkeley and MBA from UCLA, and is active in several clean tech start-up companies.

Chris Bracco, Wastewater Collection Superintendent, City of Roseville
Chris started working for the City of Roseville in APR 1986, as a Water/Wastewater Maintenance Worker, and worked through the ranks to current position of Wastewater Collection Superintendent. Mr Bracco is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the City's wastewater collection system

Carissa Boudwin

Biography:

Carissa Boudwin is responsible for all technology marketing for the company, including development and support for its online training & certification program, social media platforms, advertising, direct mail campaigns, trade exhibitions, and client service programs. Boudwin is PACP, LACP, and MACP Certified. Boudwin started with Electro Scan Inc. at its Sacramento Corporate Office in 2014, after earning a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia.

Matt Campos

Biography:

Matt Campos is the Field Operations Manager for Electro Scan Inc. and has been involved with and managed numerous pipeline inspection technology bench-marking projects throughout the United States, Germany, United Arab Emirates, and United Kingdom. He has been Lead Field Technician of over one hundred (100) Electro Scan projects, completing over 500,000 feet of electro scanning. Matt has spoken at numerous water and wastewater conferences, is a member of the California Water Environment Association (CWEA), and is NASSCO PACP, LACP, & MACP certified.

Gary Warren

Senior Civil Engineer / Supervisor of Wastewater Design Section
EBMUD

Biography:

Gary Warren, PE, is a Senior Civil Engineer for the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD), supervising the Wastewater Engineering Division’s Design Section. This Section performs in-house design work for the Wastewater Department’s capital improvement projects. Projects include treatment plant, collection system and recycled water system upgrades and rehabilitation. Gary has been very involved with EBMUD’s innovative resource recovery and co-digestion program, which allows their treatment plant to produce typically 130% of the power needed to operate the plant. Gary has a BS in chemical engineering from UC Santa Barbara and 30 years of experience. Prior to working for the District, he also worked for CH2M HILL (now part of Jacobs) and Metcalf & Eddy (now part of AECOM). He is also very active in CWEA, currently serving on the board of the local SF Bay Section.
