Finding top talent can be difficult. For the last eight years, all of our local entry-level water engineers have been hired from our intern program. Many of them are quickly becoming leaders in our company and in the community. We will share our approach to intern selection.

Stephanie I. Shamblin Gray

Biography:

Stephanie Shamblin Gray is a Water Project Engineer with HDR in Southern California. She has more than 10 years of experience in planning and design of wastewater, recycled water, and storm water projects. Stephanie leads the intern program in her office and serves as a mentor for Senior Design Projects at University of California, Irvine.

Jeff Tucker

Director of Administrative Services/CFO
NapaSan

Biography:

Jeff Tucker is the Director of Administrative Services and Chief Financial Officer for the Napa Sanitation District. He has worked for NapaSan for about 9 years. Jeff has a Master's Degree in Public Administration and is a member of the Water Environment Federation and the Government Finance Officers Association. For the past three years, Jeff has served on the CWEA Board, this past year as the Treasurer/Secretary.
