This session will cover the practical aspects of selecting software, hardware, and third party add-ons as well as practical advice on how and where to utilize In-House Training Videos to improve employee training. In addition we will be providing after-conference materials (via PDF E-Mail) as well as written guidelines that organizations can adapt / adopt to quickly establish their own video training guidelines.

Biography:

Robert (Bob) Bradley is the Senior Training & Development Specalist for the Sacramento Area Sewer District (SASD), where he has been employed since 2008. Robert is retired from the US Military (25 years) and from the State of California (15 years). Roberts educational preporation includes a BA. BS, MSIT, and PhD (ABD).

Biography:

Hello everyone! My name is Shelly Smith-Cortez. Born in Sacramento, I am a California native who spent my formative years in southern Oregon. I hold an Associate’s degree in Human Services Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, and a Master of Science in Educational and Instructional Technology. I have worked for the County of Sacramento since 2006. Currently I am a Training and Development Specialist with the Sacramento Area Sewer District in Sacramento, California.

Biography:

Dr. John Rowe is an A level operator in water and wastewater treatment plant operations. He has been an operator and educator for 32-years in the operations of water and wastewater treatment facilities. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in Biological Sciences and has a PhD in Environmental Sustainability and a PhD in Biological Sciences. He has managed wastewater treatment and water treatment facilities as well as industrial pretreatment operations. He was recognized in 2003 and 2005 by winning the National Public Private Partnership Award for innovation by optimizing treatment plant operations and by implementing water operator educational programs.
