How system design and actual flows affect different types of UV disinfection. Why UV systems that have the best energy efficiencies could be wrong for your application or your flow range. From the poor flow dynamics of a deep channel flow to the ideal flow dynamics through a machined stainless steel closed vessel, UV reactor efficiencies are improved with basic logical engineering designs. Changing the linear flow distribution has significant impacts on UV disinfection efficiency.
