Odors are a byproduct of wastewater and odor control is required at pump stations and collection systems. Removal of odors has been achieved by adsorption, absorption, biological oxidation or chemical scrubbing. This presentation surveys odor control technologies and provides an explanation of using hydroxyl radicals to treat odors.

Biography:

Patrick Resch is the Director of Technical Sales & Service for Vapex Environmental Technologies, LLC. He has over 20 years of experience in odor control and Advanced Oxidation Processes. Joining Vapex in 2001, Patrick is an expert at evaluating applications, installation requirements and environmental conditions. Additionally, he has been instrumental in product improvement and process design. Patrick and his family live in Chattanooga, TN.
