Location: Franklin 3 (4th Floor)
CEUs: BPI, InterNachi, NARI, ASHI

The past five years has witnessed a proliferation of smart home technology, ranging from thermostats to video cameras to doorbells. Some of this technology, specifically smart thermostats, has the ability to save customers significant amounts of money on their heating and cooling bills. But, how can the people who would most benefit from these savings, low and moderate income customers, access these technologies which can have high upfront costs? This panel will explore how smart home companies have partnered with utilities to expand access to smart home technology using the examples from state pilot programs.
