Jason Dispenza has over 15 years' experience in energy, technology, finance, and construction. Since 2006, he has served as the CEO of EDGE Energy, an energy services and installation company located near Washington DC employing roughly 60 people across five states. In 2014, he founded E2F2.us, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, focused on restoring data rights to citizens and helping the energy grid and regional energy markets through interoperability enhancements using blockchain. There aim was to unite Home Performance rebates with other industries' funding like healthcare and property insurance. This work lead Jason to start EnLedger.io in May of 2016. At EnLedger, they are exploring crypto-token offerings which are tied to local or distributed energy projects, and they aim to release an inter-operability and crowd-funding platform for various renewable energy and sustainability projects in Q2 of 2018.
