Elizabeth practiced energy and environmental law for 15 years, including work with the Tulane Law Clinic when it received the Distinguished Environmental Achievement Award from the American Bar Association. She directed Global Green New Orleans, a nonprofit that created LEED Platinum homes, green schools and affordable housing. She created an energy education program for which Time magazine wrote “No organization is doing more to green New Orleans,” was named a Champion of Change by the White House for managing New Orleans’ DOE Better Buildings program, and is an Aspen Institute Fellow. Elizabeth joined PosiGen Solar at its founding 6 years ago to deliver solar + energy efficiency financing and guaranteed savings to all homeowners, regardless of income or credit score – the only company in the nation to serve lower income families, and with 12,000+ families enjoying an average savings of more than $500 per year.
