Senior Research Engineer
National Renewable Energy Laboratory
Lieko Earle is a Senior Research Engineer in the Buildings and Thermal Systems Center at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. She conducts field-based and laboratory evaluations of innovative residential efficiency technologies, including home energy management systems (HEMS) that interact intelligently with buildings and their occupants to optimize comfort, convenience, and energy use. Her research interests center around advanced monitoring techniques and experiment design for field evaluations of residential building systems. She holds a B.S. in Physics from Brown University and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
