Managing Associate Dean and Collection Development Librarian

Associate Professor Ginny Norris Blackson holds an MLIS from the University of Kentucky. She currently serves as the Managing Associate Dean and Head of Collections for Central Washington University's James E. Brooks Library. Her teaching experience includeds, K-12 information literacy, interpersonal communications, children's literature, and library and information science. Her research interest include multicultural children's and young adult literature, 4th Wave Feminism, Curriculum Based Collection Development, Radical Appalachian Feminism, and anything related to Jane Austen. During her library career, Ginny has worked in public, academic, school, and special libraries.
