Disasters, small events like a water main break or a large event like Hurricane Sandy, often require extraordinary responses from ordinary citizens. Librarians have continually demonstrated their commitment to their community during such times of need, offering buildings as places of refuge, and staff as sources of informational and emotional support. This program will cover tools and resources that will leave librarians feeling prepared and confident to face the next crisis in their community.
